How it all began.


Founded seven years ago in the growing technology community of Pittsburgh, Datavibes began with a simple vision - to enable business executives and managers to make smarter decisions every day by giving them new ways to look at their data.

The first step towards achieving this vision was taken when Datavibes made a play in the integrated health records arena by developing an appliance to integrate the business and functional data (from Practice Management Systems, Clinical & Functional Systems and Pharmacy & Prescription Systems) for an evidence-based patient care application. Though, today such products are being considered for use, in those days, the market did not support the need for a radically different way to deliver care.

Datavibes quickly realized this after initial market testing and leveraging the skills developed during the product development stage, shifted from a product to a services oriented model. The initial product technology partners – General Electric and Siemens became the first few customers of Datavibes. Johnson & Johnson and Eli Lily followed soon after.

Since then, Datavibes has consulted with several companies across industries though a lot of the work has been in the life sciences, retail, financial services and manufacturing domains. Datavibes has provided both a roadmap and a helping hand to its clients for leveraging data assets as a competitive advantage.
